Nice find Dare.

I have heard of Taruffi's book but that is the first time I have heard a driver discuss.  Apparently the book goes into all the mathematics of cornering a racing car in great detail.  It's interesting that JYS doesn't like Taruffi's results.  Or at least th interviewer's interpretation of them.

Steven i watched this vid again and noticed, could
the interviewer be Roman Polanski and the clip be
from his movie Weekend of a Champion?

I've never seen the movie and I've never found
a copy available on the net

I'm surprised how many sites refer to "Weekend of a Champion" as being about "sports car racing."

The Turner Classic Movies site lists the film in its database:

http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title.jsp?stid=487659

Note how it lists Polanski, Jackie and Helen Stewart as "actor."

There is a box on the right of the page where fans can vote to have the film released on DVD. I was just the first person to vote for it. Hey, it helped convince them to put "Grand Prix" out on DVD.
