Ralf hints at F1 return
« on: April 03, 2008, 02:11:54 PM »
Ralf Schumacher has acknowledged that he would return to Formula 1 if offered the right car to drive.

Ralf signed up for the German touring car series DTM with Mercedes-Benz for 2008, after three disappointing campaigns with Toyota.

"Of course, I would have been happy to continue in Formula 1 with a competitive car, but now a new challenge begins for me," Schumacher said.

"I am totally concentrated on the DTM," he continued.

Nonetheless, Schumacher admitted that watching Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen race McLaren MP4-23 has evoked feelings of envy.

"It would really excite me to race that car. Should I ever get the chance to get back into Formula 1 competitively, Mercedes would certainly not stand in my way," he said.

If Force India decided his services were'nt
need I wonder what would make Ralf think
Mercedes would have any interest in him
Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."
