I remember listening to that race on the radio with some of my buddies from school. No live TV back then. We were all dumfounded when the car broke.

The next year's cars were the Maurice Philippe-designed Lotus 56. Beautiful wedge cars driven by Joe Leonard, Art Pollard and Graham Hill.

The 67 car is on display in running condition at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.

I remember the radio broadcasts well, wasn't it
called the Indy 5oo Network?

I remember listening when Jim Clark debuted at Indy
and when he won.

Clark coming to Indy is what got me interested in F1.
