Now You Can Use Bond's Strap On
« on: July 14, 2006, 05:44:15 PM »
A little known fact is that all the gadgets in the Bond films are only ever based on technological innovation being developed at the time of production. Remember the Sat Nav in JB's Aston Martin DB5? Everybody laughed and now look.

So therefore 'Thunderball' is scientific proof that one day we will all be buzzing around with jet packs strapped to our backs, well it may be sooner thank you think.

This Bond/Topgun pack is being tested later this year, the 66-pound jet pack aims to fly a single person 110 miles on half a gallon of fuel. So it's good for the environment to!  ::)

Strap on and take off - it's easy. Landing is a different matter but fear not, Q has thought of everything, after your half a gallon of fuel is used up - the wings fall off and a parachute is released!  :swoon:

Where do I put my iPod?
