EXTRA! EXTRA! Grand Kids Ruin F1 Weekend!

Actually thats a bit harsh - its actually my fault.

Mrs Wiz and I foolishly volunteered to look after two of the Grand Children (yes I said Grand Children) this weekend and I neglected to check the F1 calender before committing myself to a weekend of back braking child care.

We are picking them up on Saturday Lunch time and have them right through to Sunday evening so I shall miss the entire qualifying session and the race!  Never mind they are cuities (see pic below).

We had planned on a trip to London for them but unfortunately Mrs Wiz has injured her calf muscle and I'm not sure she is up for the walking, (I'm sworn to secrecy on how the injury happened so nobody ever mention it again please or I'll have to tell you  ).

So advance apologies for not attending the chat room. If I am around for any reason then I will be sure to pop in and say AARRRGGHHH!!!

yeesh, me too!  I thought I had my weekends wrong - this one would have sucked for me too - no chance to watch it before Monday or Tuesday...thankfully it's next.

Well, if you find yourself with a clash of priorities later on in the year, I suggest you use ITV's online player (if you can convince it you live in the UK - and therein lies a tale...) to watch it while you keep one eye on the grandkids. If you do happen to miss a good bit, you can always re-play it once they're out of your hair.

I would have thought that you would have seen this as an opportunity to educate the kids in the ways of F1.  If drivers can start at 6 months old so can the fans.

I understand from people a lot older than me (honest!) that the favoured term for a senior moment is a CRAFT moment.  This is an accronym for Can't Remember A F******* Thing.
