Giancarlo Fisichella will celebrate his 200th Grand Prix start in Monaco.

Check out the pix of him in a tux.

I wonder will he celebrate it by running his car up the back of someone elses so he can get drunk earlier??   :DD

Rom...

Sorry to all the Fisi fans..... I do actually like him

Maybe they will make him a cake in the shape of a car crash with 'It wasn't my fault' on it.

200 races is a great achievement for anyone in F1.  Even deCesaris.  Unfortunately for Fisi he is going to join the long list of drivers who retires with his potential intact.

Let's hope he gets a clean run in Monte Carlo it would be a shame to record a DNF in his 200th GP. Looks more like A1 GP might be beckoning for next year though.

rom and John, this is Monaco we're talking about - he usually has a good race at Monaco. (apart from 2004, which looked like a practise run for Turkey 2008...) Hopefully he'll show his usual speed and get through the field so that he can celebrate the milestone with some points. Now that would be something over which to have a glass of champagne! A podium or a win would be better, but I think that might be pushing my luck a bit...

Fisi has a two-year contract with Force India and judging by the press release they've issued to mark the milestone, they couldn't be happier with Fisi's general performance. He definitely won't be racing in A1 next year!
