Lily Allen was allegedly asked to tone down her wild antics at the Cannes Film Festival by Flavio Briatore.

The singer was at a party on his yacht while in France for the annual movie showcase. But Flavio, is said to have been left red-faced by the media attention Lily attracted after swimming topless.

He requested she leave the bash early - and cover herself up!

I thought she made a habit, like most publicity seeking poptarts, of doing outrageously stupid things. She takes after her pratt of a Father Keith Allen in that respect, remember his beer stunt at a music awards ceremony.

Lily hasn't done it before (as far as I know), which makes it novel in the eyes of the press. Hence the news item.

I think the main problem is that her boobs are actually smaller than Flav's so he was feeling self-concious.
I would also question the description of 'pop-singer' as she can't actually sing. She sort of 'talks' with music.
This modern music....don't get me started. In my day...blah....blah....etc.
