Max knew about plot in January

As with many things in F1 you can't take this at face value.  The basic story is that someone phoned someone who used to work for Bernie to say that they had an open budget to go after Max.  Then the guy never heard from them again.  He told Bernie who told Max.  SO Max knew months before anything appeared in NOTW that someone was out to get him.  For me the interesting part of the story is that Bernie's contact asked him if there was any dirt to be found on Max and Bernie said there was none because Max was Mr Boring.

Maybe I have my cynical head on but it seems to me the only person who can gain from this being published is Bernie because it says he knew there was a plot and told Max therefore he couldn't have been behind it and besides he told someone there was no dirt to find.  Convenient timing for Bernie that this should come out now.

The whole thing becomes more of a farse every day.

In fact everything surrounding Max does.

I wonder if he'll be at the British G P ?
