Sunglasses that help you lose weight? Wait…. What?
« on: June 29, 2008, 04:48:51 PM »
I’m sure you’re thinking “How can that be possible?” Well, I was thinking the same thing when I cam across the claim that these sunglasses can help a person lose weight.

Although in America, a country with a growing obesity problem, people will believe anything and try anything. Especially something under $5. CheapOnlineGlasses has a section devoted to a variety of sunglasses that they claim will help you lose weight.

“Another interesting aspect of blue tints, is its color psychology - the least appetizing color of the spectrum. Instead of find[ing] hard ways to lose weight, maybe it is time to try some thing new and easy.“

What they’re saying is that the color blue is the least favorable to eat. Yellow and Red are at the opposite side of the spectrum, meaning they’re more appetizing? I feel that this maybe has more of the placebo effect here, and I’m not sure that anything they’re saying actually is true.
