The poll only lists current drivers so my favourites, for varying reasons are: MW; LH; SB; KR; FA; and DC.

However, my all-time favourites after the great ayrton SENNA are: alberto ASCARI; juan FANGIO; stirling MOSS; jim CLARK; jackie STEWART; chris AMON; denny HULME; bruce McLAREN; jochen RINDT; niki LAUDA; alain Prost; mika HAKKINEN; and michael SCHUMACHER.

but seriously I have a lot of time for MW not only as a driver [who IMO is under-rated] but also as a man of exemplary character.

I rate him highly and hope RED BULL can keep giving him better and better cars

I note the question relates to 'favorite' driver not 'best' driver.
I have met Jensen a few times and I really like him so he is my 'favorite' driver. If we were talking about 'best' driver (at this moment) I would say Lewis. Ky kids were karting with Lewis when he was about 13 and he was a really nice lad. I guess he still is but I can't say I know him. What is obvious though is his talent. He has been at the top of every racing class he has entered.

I picked Button as he is my favourite, however I wish he was back in a Williams partnering the other person I would have voted for, Nico Rosberg.

A very even distribution so far. I was torn between Webber & Trulli. I actually prefer Webber but voted Trulli because:

a. He's a really nice guy who should have a better car, and

b. I knew Rom would vote for Webber, anyway, so Jarno might as well get a vote, too!

I voted Kimi because although I don't think he's very personable, when it comes to driving, he just puts his head down and does his best.  I also think he may well be the best driver out there, but that is not why he is my favourite (e.g. MS was likely the best, but no way a favourite).
