Lambo Travels 6,500 Miles for Oil Change

It doesn't matter if you believe in climate change or not, most people are working together (or are being forced) to preserve what’s (supposedly) left of the earth by minimising our carbon footprints.

Then along comes a sheik who has more money than sense to fly his Lamborghini all the way from Qatar to Britain - for an oil change!

Of course, he had the help of Qatar Airways in shipping his Murcielago LP640 for approximately a 6,500 mile round trip that cost him around £20,000. Ironically, the servicing cost a “mere” £3,500.

Now that's wasteful. Wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to transport the oil?

Throw in a couple of mechanics and a guy to make coffee and it still would have been cheaper than transporting the car.

Gven that he lives in an area of the world populated by obscenely rich Arabs who like flash cars you have question why no-one in the middle east can service a Lambo.  There must be a demand there.
