« on: August 29, 2006, 11:16:46 AM »
The Formula One calendar will be trimmed to 17 grands prix next year with Germany and Italy each losing one of their two races, the governing body said on Tuesday. The International Automobile Federation (FIA) said in a statement that the calendar had been approved by its World Motor Sport Council.

While the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps returns after being cancelled this year, there were no slots for either the San Marino or European Grand Prix.

2007 Formula One World Championship Calendar:

18 March        Australia       Albert Park
08 April           Malaysia       Sepang
15 April           Bahrain         Bahrain
13 May           Spain            Catalunya
27 May           Monaco        Monte Carlo
10 June           Canada         Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
17 June           United States Indianapolis
01 July            France           Magny Cours
08 July            Britain            Silverstone
22 July            Germany        Hockenheim/Nurburgring**
05 August       Hungary         Hungaroring
26 August       Turkey           Istanbul
09 September Italy               Monza
16 September Belgium         Spa
30 September China            Shanghai

Sorry Ian, its true I'm afraid  :'(

The above calendar is official straight from the FIA. The more races the better I say!
