Another Driver Position Open
« on: December 13, 2008, 04:58:46 PM »
Amid all of talk about driver changes at STR and FIF1, one of the most prestigious driving positions is up for grabs.

Oscar Meyer is taking resumes until the end of January for one-year spots as Hotdoggers. As an official company ambassador, you set up, publicize, and attend promotional and charity events in the oh-so-stylin' Wienermobile. And you may need to do radio interviews or make television appearances.

If you get hired, the gig comes with a "competitive'' salary, expenses, benefits, and clothing.

You attend Hot Dog High in lovely Madison, Wis., for training on Oscar Meyer's products, how to run your own PR operation, and, most importantly, how to drive the Wienermobile.

The company typically gets more than 1,000 applications for 12 spots. That means that you've got a much better shot at getting into Harvard than you do of driving the Wienermobile!

“You can search the world over for the finer things, but you won't find a match for the American road and the creatures that live on it.”
― Bob Dylan
