I agree with Salina. Take along something to read. There was a whole lot of "hurry up and wait."

When I did county jury duty, I was on two different cases. The first one had a directed verdict of not guilty because the prosecution's case was so very weak. The second was declared a mistrial after one attorney kept bringing up something he was directed no to. So, after two trials, we never got to decide anything!

A few weeks after the trials, the judge was arrested for arson and insurance fraud. He bought an old house up at Buckey Lake, burned it down and used the insurance to build a summer cottage on the property. He's now in prison!

Mine was so dull and boring - clear cut guilty from the start - just your basic fraud - nothing interesting!!!! But now I've done my bit I shouldnt be called upon again

  I did mine nearly 9 years ago and have no idea anymore - but it would be funny tho don't ya think!
