Early Sarah Fisher Race
« on: March 14, 2009, 02:14:39 PM »
How Sarah Fisher celebrated her 18th birthday back in 1998. She's in the blue #9 car on the outside of the first row. It's an Outlaw Sprint car, with a 410 cubic inch V8 putting out about 850 HP.

This is at Eldora Speedway, a couple of hours from my house. It's one of the premier dirt tracks in the country. It was built in 1954, and is currently owned by Tony Stewart. This track is wild enough in an Outlaw Late Model. I don't know if I'd want to try it in a Sprinter!

This is the kind of open wheel racing I grew up with.

― Bob Dylan
