Indy 100 Years Old Today

Today, 20 March 2009, is the 100th anniversary of the signing of the company's articles of incorporation.

The Speedway's museum is offering a special memento of the day. for $5, visitor can have their picture taken with actors dressed as the "Four Founders" of the track. It will be taken in front of the 1909 Buick Model 16B that Louis Chevrolet drove to a win in the first race ever held there, a 10 miler. The picture comes famed in a border stamped with the Speedway's Centennial logo.
