Schumacher quits (already)

So I have got my wish! Schumacher has pulled out. I didn't know he read my posts on here! >:D
No loss to the sport in my opinion. Ferrari should give a youngster a chance.

I think it's too bad.  Maybe if Gene doesn't do much, he will recosider a couple of races down the road.

Thats a real shame, it will deprive fans new to Formula 1 the chance to see a real master racing driver at work.  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(

I am a bit frustrated.  I wanted to see how Schumacher would compete with the current crop, how he would hold himself this time around.  Shame about his neck.  I also feel for the (was it) 10,000 odd people who bought tickets for Valencia hoping to see him, but will now see Badoer.

I saw somewhere that they mentioned Gene would likely drive, not Badoer.

Oops, I see now Luca has said Badoer will drive.  I wonder why, when Gene has had much more recent racing experience.

I wonder if Luca will still honour MS's 'advisor' contract renewal that was mentioned.

Maybe Williams and Horner will let MS in the F60 now  :tease:

I guess Badoer will get a few laps in the 'private' 2007 on GP2 tires now?

Maybe it's just that Schumi didn't want to go to the Valencia Yawn Festival, either.  ;)

As the current test driver he is up to speed with the F60.
I was looking forward to seeing Schumi in Singapore although that maybe a possibility. :DntKnw:

There is no way the F60 that Kimi and Massa drove in Germany and Hungary is the same car that Badoer tested in March.

If he's going to rely on that testing experience, he'll be in for a surprise.

There is only one thing that will cheer me up either Jens or Lewis winning in Spain. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Lets hope Michael feels fit enough before the end of the Season, at least one more race will be better than none at all.

I reading all the posts it appears I will be the one who is cheering the fact Schumacher will not be there.

Enough said.

I was going to have the day off sick, now that The master isn't racing I'm not going to bother.
