Focus started in first, was passed by Camery, and then Camery was passed by both Focus & Honda Civic

So it wasn't wrong - just dated.  :P

Sounds like Toy might not retain anyone.

exactly Scotty, and frankly who cares?

even FORCE INDIA are outperforming the incompetent TOYOTA F1 team - what a disaster to a BIG spender and player

the sooner they go and keep to their core business of making the world's best selling and most bullet-proof but boring FWD road cars the better!

Didn't you know that News & World is the same as News OF THE World?   :P :P

I did a little checking. U.S. News and World Report is owned by the privately held U.S.News & World Report, L.P. News of the World is owned by NewsCorp, who also own Speed Channel.

Local news tonight said the most surrendered vehicle was the Explorer, the most purchased was the Toyota Corolla, followed by the Focus and Civic. Average mileage improvement 10mpg.

I shouldn't think Trulli would find it too hard to get a seat some where, his experience is second to none. I think the lack luster development of the car is more to blame for lack of results than he is. He has proved he can be a solid points scorer with the right car.

Why can Toyota not get their heads round F1??

Because you can't run an F1 team by commitee or a governing board, it's much to fast paced and requires risky snap decisions sometimes on an hourly basis.

They had the man, in Mike Gascoyne, who could have really sorted the team and kept them competitive.  Yes he is big headed and comes across brash, but that is what is needed in F1 and Toyota especially needed someone like that to kick the committee in Japan into shape.  At least that is my opinion, I know he somewhat divides people.

I agree. But he didn't fit the Japanese corporate culture. I think this could also describe most of what Honda's done as well.

They should have ditched the corporate culture, not Gascoyne.
