Learning about F1
« on: August 01, 2010, 08:41:35 PM »
HI,

I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin. In light of F1 coming to Austin my class is currently studying both formula 1 and formula 1 fans. For that purpose, I am wondering if anyone would be willing to participate in an interview with me sometime this week (Aug. 2 - Aug. 7). The interview will be conducted using Skype (audio only) and will only take about an hour. I am very flexible with time so just tell me when you will be available and I'll try to accommodate you. BTW I am in US central time.

Thanks in advance,
Cameron

hi Cameron - I'd be happy to be interviewed as I'm excited F1 is being reintroduced to the U.S.A. and I hope this time it gains more traction and penetration within your country.

I'm retired from paid work so I am available most days/times except this Thursday - your Wednesday. I'm in AEST - Australian Eastern Standard Time

To arrange SKYPE contact please email me at:

kiwibef@hotmail.com

Cheers!

Bruce

Well I did Seenath - a warm welcome to the site BTW - my hour long conversation with Cameron was fascinating and well worth while.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I do not need anymore interviews.

Also I want to thank Bruce (Seenaman) for participating in an interview with me.
It was very interesting and I learned a lot about F1 (more than I could have every learned just from reading about it).

Thank you very much Bruce,
Cameron

No worries Cameron, thank you for your generous and gracious comments and giving me so many great questions - I had a ball!

...all the best for the project towards you majoring in your advertising degree, and I do hope you get to see some motor racing; in particular the planned first F1 GP in Austin in 2012 - trust me, the spectacle will blow your cotton socks off.

Cheers buddy and take care,

SennaMan aka Bruce

Lol Scott, that's so funny especially as I now live in Australia where the film was made and its story located!
