Good point, but my intention was as follows.

Lotus runs under the Malaysian flag, Renault under the French. So Renault is a French team, Lotus is Malaysian.

So lets rephrase the question (and start counting again).

I was looking for the teams that raced (with own carmakes!) under the British flag. So a Ferrari bought by some rich British driver doesn't count.

I wasn't sure about that one. I've seen references both ways.

As far as I know, the Eagle was an American car, or at least it raced under the American flag.

one site I looked at had Eagle as a USA and UK team and

Benetton as a UK and Italian team

So considering all the confusion I think my guess should win ;)

never hurts to try

Best I can come up with is 50, counting teams with dual nationality.

Well, this could go on forever, but I guess it is a matter of counting and what source you look at. So, I came up to 51. But I wille give both Dare and Lonny 2 points each. I hope you can both agree on that.

New standings:
Ikjohnson1950: 8 points
Cam: 2 points
Dare: 2 points

New question.
Which British driver painted his Ferrari in British Racing Green and how did Enzo react on that?

Should be not too difficult.

Mike Hawthorne, 1953 and Enzo actually had it painted for him in his "national" colour so I'm guessing it was cool with him!
Kimi's back! Future double WDC.

That was quick!

New standings:
Ikjohnson1950: 8 points
F1Darrell: 3 points
Cam: 2 points
Dare: 2 points

New question will be later today. Have to think of a good one. ;-)

Okay, this one should be difficult but not impossible.

Johnny Cleas was the first F1 driver from Belgium. But he was not a driver originally. What was the first thing he did in F1,m before he started driving? And why did he do that?
