Monaco Quotes
« on: May 24, 2013, 11:59:43 AM »
Thought I'd start a thread since there are probably more celebrities and more reporters in Monaco than any other race of the year.

Here are a couple of quotes from the same question...showing a vastly different perspective of two drivers (IMO).

Question:  What is magic about Monaco?

Hamilton:  The weather, boats, the track, the F1 cars, the money, the girls, the glamour.  Everything important in life all in one small city.

Button:  It's crazy, and that's why we love it.  On other circuits, you have asphalt, a white line and then asphalt. You make a mistake, you run wide.  You understand where your braking point is for the next lap.  Here, you can't do that - you are into the wall.  You build up to it.

That said, I guess Button was focused quite a bit differently in his first couple of years...I remember Flavio having a fit when he tried to tie his boat up to Flav's yacht.

Post your quotes...I'm sure there will be ton.

Watched the drivers press conference...still a lot of anger from Sutil to Hamilton it seems.  Amazing that more than a year has passed, but Hamilton still hasn't found time to 'sit down and talk about it'.  I suppose Sutil thinks Hamilton's testimony might have led to a different outcome - could be.  :DntKnw:
