Off to Indy
« on: June 13, 2007, 01:56:16 PM »
Well, friends, I'm off for the USGP at Indy. This is the last year for the contract between Bernie and Tony. When my tickets arrived a few weeks ago, there was an order form with them to renew the tickets for next year. Hope that's a good sign.

I'll be making do with only six cameras for the week-end, but I still should have a picture or two when I get back. I'm taking the two Canon SLR's, plus four point-and-shoot units. Just want to show what can be done even with low cost equipment.

When you watch the race, keep an eye out for a tall guy with a beard, pony tail, glasses and a camerea bag the size of a mini-van.

Have a great time cosworth.I look forward to seeing the photographs when you get a chance to post them on site.
Have you any idea where you will be watching the race from?   We will keep a look out for you.

AT1&T have laptops set up at the track to enter their "Win a trip to Monza" contest. Two Polish fellows I met at the bar last night bet me $20 each that I couldn"t hack into the web from one of them. The $40 dollars will be given to the "Buy Cos that die-cast 6 wheel TAG-Williams he's been looking at all week-end" fund. Three Unas are looking over my shoulder. Isn't this cool, girls? I'll be back on line Tue.

By the way, Dare, Got close up pix of Fisi and Kov. Kov really does look like Bevis.
