Kimi could be booted out by Ferrari
« on: May 10, 2009, 10:59:17 PM »

The pressure is mounting on Ferrari and Kimi in particular according to this article in the Daily Star, but will Luca's axe fall and when?

I think this article is a beat up over kimi. Sure the champion is more of a chump this year than even last but the whole FERRARI camp is so full of mediocrity where do ya start?

Can't blame his Spain result on Kimi's driving.  It was faultless until his motor died.

Ferrari need to look at design and strategy before they start blaming the drivers.

It's no good blaming Kimi. We all know that, given a good car he is magic.

If they want to start winning again, they need Ross Brawn, but that won't happen just yet, I'm sure.

I'm not entirely convinced by the source. The Daily Star is very much a tabloid. It wouldn't have surprised me if they simply misinterpreted Eddie Jordan's comments that he thought Kimi should be suspended as meaning Kimi was about to lose his seat.

Utter garbage.  The Star is not just gutter press it is near the bottom of the gutter.  I am with Ali on this one I think they listened the the rubbish Eddie Jordan was spouting on TV and bought it.  I really hope the BBC dump him and replace him with Mike Gascoyne asap because all he does is talk garbage.  David Coulthard spends half of his time correcting EJ's errors.  I always liked EJ but now that we get him over a prolonged period I can't stand him.

Kimi is fine.  There is nothing wrong with him.  If Ferrari could get their act together and give him a car that is remotely reliable and does not have evil handling he will win again.  All the people talking about his attitude and motivation have short memories.  He is no different than when Ferrari thought it was worth pushing Schumacher out the door to get him.

Kimi has a contract to the end of 2010 so to get rid of him now is going to cost Ferrari $70 million ish.  Ain't gonna happen.

Some of us thought they were mad then and have seen little to help us change our minds. :P

I'm 100% with you there John, oust Schumacher in favour of Raikkonen, that was a boner if I ever did see one, pillocks.

I think Kimi is still a great driver and deserves a better car than the one he has been given this year.

The car wasn't so bad last weekend.

It's the management .......... or should that read mismanagement, that's the problem.

Strange how Ferrari have always got to find a scapegoat.

Shame Ross Brawn didn't apply to be team principal of Ferrari.  Just think what he could have done with their resources.

Oh wait.  He did but Luca decided he knew better.  Stupid boy.
